Digital Twin Professors

What a Digital Twin is / is not

A Digital Twin is:

  • A bounded AI system trained on a consented corpus
  • Designed to teach, explain, and assist with Q&A
  • Built to preserve knowledge continuity

A Digital Twin is not:

  • Not a person
  • Not sovereign
  • Not an independent moral agent
  • Not allowed to operate outside defined boundaries

Consent & revocation

Participation requires explicit written consent. Authorization is scoped and revocable. Revocation triggers deactivation and/or re-training boundary updates.

Data boundary

Each Digital Twin is built only from a consented, governed corpus of the individual's life-work and public/provided materials, under revocable authorization. We do not present the system as “everything a person ever did.” We present it as a governed knowledge substrate with clear boundaries.

Lecture format

  • Lecture modules (prepared lessons)
  • Live Q&A (with guardrails)
  • Attribution and citations where possible
  • Recording policy (what is stored, what isn't)

Safety, auditability, and boundaries

  • Logs / audit trails
  • Versioning (“Twin v1, v2…”)
  • Red-team testing
  • Human oversight policy (stated clearly)
